Spring!

Last fall my loving mother spent all afternoon freezing her bum off helping me plant hundreds of bulbs. I'm glad to say that all of the hard work we put in that day has finally paid off!

All of my daffodils are finally in full bloom. Every afternoon when I come home I get so happy to see so many beautiful flowers.

Don't look too closely.. you might see I have yet to take down my st. patricks day flag or that my christmas lights are still up... Don't judge, I don't own a ladder!

We also planted some out on the side of the house. The past few days have been too cold for some of the flowers to open up, but I was able to get a picture of one of them.

I've been wanting a fire pit for our backyard for a while. Curtis finally agreed and we went and bought one last weekend. That night we had ourselves a little weenie roast in our backyard. The dogs were a little weary about it at first, not quite sure what to. After a while they just laid down on the grass and watched the fire.

Here is Curtis, roasting a hot dog.

School is finally out. I am one month of student teaching and a teacher work sample away from graduation. I can't wait to start teaching! I'm a little nervous (but mostly excited) about teaching 6th grade, but I just keep telling myself, "you can do this em!" Guess I better start re-memorizing my times tables......

It was indeed a bitter, cold day that we planted the bulbs. But you feed me hot chocolate, leftovers out of the fridge, and all the leftover Halloween candy I wanted, so I had the energy to endure to the end!

You were the super woman that had the brute strength to pull all that weed barrier fabric out. Remember how much we laughed trying to pull on that stuff?

Sorry we did not make it over there with the ladder last Sat. You are still on the schedule.
