New Pets

Here are some pictures of the newest pets in our family.

JUST KIDDING! while they ARE living in my house, I think they are the most disgusting little creatures. I have to observe them all semester long for my science class. . . . not really my favorite project i've done so far. Needless to say, they stay hidden away in the other room where no one can see them. =)

"and Satan will lull them into a caramel state..."

For those of you who don't know, I teach the 12 and 13 year old sunday school class. Today we were talking about following the promptings of the spirit. We read a scripture that talked about how Satan works, how he deceives the hearts of men and how he will "lull them into a carnal state." We asked the kids what they thought that meant. After a minute of thinking one boy raised his hand.

"Well..... to me carnal kind of sounds like caramel.... and caramel is sticky and thick you know. So maybe its kind of like being in situations that are really sticky and hard to get out of."

This is why I LOVE teaching so much!
